Why Fairway Gear Guide exists
Golf equipment can be expensive and confusing. I started Fairway Gear Guide to make it easier to explore the options, choose what fits your game and discover places worth playing.
I live in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy golf, travel and BBQ. When I’m not exploring a course or looking into gear, I’m planning another road trip or working on my brisket.
How to read our guides
Our collection includes equipment overviews and course guides. An overview is not the same as a measured, head-to-head product test. Existing guides do not include a full testing protocol or original performance data, so use them as a starting point—not a substitute for a fitting.
Course ratings are subjective. Older prices and restaurant suggestions are labeled as archive information and should be checked directly before booking.
